L’iris apre i suoi fiori vergini al mondo per la prima volta, durante la fioritura. É pronto a regalare il mistero che nasconde in sé alla prima ape che accarezza con gentilezza le sue foglie bagnate dalla rugiada. In Giappone si crede che l’iris abbia il potere di purificare il corpo e la mente, ed è per questo il simbolo della purezza. Con questa mia opera racconto l’innocenza che mi ha affascinato nel mondo pittorico giapponese. .

A long ivory silk shantung redingote.

The iris opens its virgin flowers to the world for the first time. It is ready to give away the mystery it hides within to the first bee that gently caresses its dew-soaked leaves. In Japan, there is a belief that Iris has the power to purify the body and mind, and for this reason, it is the symbol of purity. With this work, I recount the innocence that has fascinated me in the Japanese pictorial world.
